Partido Democraat presents an important webinar about the economic recovery after the severe blows caused by the COVID-19. Major guest speakers will refute their experience, knowledge, and solutions to the pandemic.

The first guest speaker on Wednesday 10 March will be the President of Madeira, Miguel Filipe Machado de Albuquerque, who in turn presents how Madeira developed the economic recovery despite the negative impact of COVID-19. The second guest speaker on Friday, March 12th will be the businessman and general partner of Keen Venture Partners, who in turn will share the opportunities that Curaçao should use to help the kingdom and international partners.

Partido Democraat is convinced that the current government of Curaçao had not fought the pandemic properly so that the island can never speak of an economic recovery. The webinar would bring about long-lasting solutions.

President Machado de Alburquerque is a Portuguese politician born on May 4, 1961, of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the president of the regional government of Madeira, an island that came out of the crisis remarkably well. Several countries and organizations have recognized Madeira as an example of how they fought the pandemic and how they recovered somewhat positively from the economic blows.

Expert Verwaayen is a European Dutch-born on February 11, 1952, and is a recognized expert in various fields, mainly in the field of telecommunications. In addition, Verwaayen has a master's degree in both law and international politics. Verwaayen is strongly convinced that Curaçao has the power for economic recovery, with significant help from the kingdom of the Netherlands, which hardly happens often. International partners would also be helpful.

The webinar will take place online via Livestorm at noon on the before mentioned days and costs USD 125 per day or an attractive offer of USD 200 for both days.
